Singapore’s private-club scene already reads like a who’s who – from old-guard sanctums such as Tower Club to buzzy newcomers like Mandala. Now add Vanta to the roster.
Arriving in the newly reimagined MacDonald House on Orchard Road this December 2025, Vanta bills itself as the boldest private members’ club Singapore has seen yet: a place that aims to marry discreet service, cultural programming, and seriously curated hospitality under one roof. Here’s what you need to know:
A 30 million overhaul featuring a two-level dining and salon space

The space at MacDonald House is currently being transformed in a $30 million overhaul: Vanta will occupy 16,000 sq ft of prime Orchard Road real estate. Step inside and the club reads like a grown-up cocktail of Singapore’s most celebrated dining rooms – think the scale of Atlas with the mood lighting of an uptown lounge. A two-level dining and salon space anchors the club: Italian marble and quartz surfaces meet bespoke joinery and muted, tactile fabrics to create an atmosphere that’s simultaneously formal and inviting.

A lofty mezzanine overlooks the main salon, carving out panoramic views and discreet enclaves for private conversations or solo work. Below, bookable private dining rooms cater to everything from client entertaining to immersive tasting menus. And because recreation matters just as much, the club tucks a state-of-the-art AI golf simulator into its programme — a polished space for practice, friendly competition, or a relaxed afternoon with a drink in hand.
Alvin Leung’s table – and a collector’s cellar

Vanta’s culinary story is authored by Michelin-starred consulting chef Alvin Leung, whose menu promises fearless, flavour-forward plates that pair as well with conversation as they do with a fine glass. Think considered modern techniques layered over confident, ingredient-led dishes—designed for convivial tasting menus or a quietly exacting dinner for two. After all, the chef has helmed award-winning restaurants globally, with names like Forbidden Duck and 15 Stamford.

At Vanta, the beverage programme reads like a collector’s wish list. Members will have access to investment-grade whiskies, rare single malts and collectible bottlings alongside storied vintages and limited-release wines from top estates. For aficionados of Japan, a curated selection of small-batch sakes—aged kōshu and prized junmai daiginjo among them—offers another depth of discovery.

In fact, the cellar is central to Vanta’s identity. Regular private tastings, masterclasses with world-class distillers, winemakers and sake brewers, and intimate maker-led events will bring members face-to-face with the people and provenance behind each bottle.
Ushering in a new era for private clubs in Singapore and the region

Vanta is a deliberate reimagining of what private hospitality can be in Singapore and the region. Beyond exceptional bottles and razor-sharp dining, the club also has a year-round calendar of exhibitions, intimate talks and cultural salons, delivered in partnership with top-tier names.
