The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection recently unveiled its latest and biggest ship yet, the Luminara, a 226-suite superyacht that will soon set sail come 3rd July 2025. Embarking from Conte Marlo, Luminara’s maiden voyage will wind through Cannes, Corsica, Livorno, Portofino, Elba, and Rome over eight leisurely days and seven nights.
Luminara joins Evrima and Ilma, the two other superyachts in the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

The Ritz-Carlton name is synonymous with elegant luxury, and their cruises promise to deliver just that. The Luminara boasts 226 suites across eight distinct categories, ranging from the 294 square feet Terrace to the expansive 1,047 square feet Owner’s suite.
In a remarkable engineering feat, all 226 suites feature stunning, spacious terraces that open out to uninterrupted ocean views—no matter the suite category. Inside, guests can expect generous king-sized beds, double-vanity bathrooms, and 24-hour in-suite dining—a far cry from regular, cramped cruises, and setting a new standard for what life at sea can look like.
Gastronomy delights from top culinary talents
With five restaurants, seven bars, and even a wine vault onboard, guests will be able to savour authentic flavours of the lands they visit, even without disembarking. Ritz-Carlton has once again called upon celebrated chefs Michael Mina and Fabio Trabocchi—both of whom previously worked on Ilma’s restaurants—to curate the dining experience aboard Luminara.

Curated experiences at sea
Life onboard encourages unhurried indulgence, with thoughtfully designed spaces for you to simply be. For those drawn to the sea and salt-scented air, the Marina Terrace offers the perfect perch—cocktail in hand and ocean breeze on your skin. And for moments when the call of the water proves irresistible, the Marina provides direct access for a refreshing dip in the open sea.

Lounge next to the Infinity Pool or Beach House pool and soak up the sun, or relax and pamper yourself at the Ritz-Carlton Spa onboard. And when you’re done, indulge in some destination-inspired cuisine at Azur, one of the five Luminara restaurants, and end the night with a glass of cognac before retreating to the Humidor lounge.

Out of the seven bars onboard, the Art Bar deserves an extra visit or two as it is “where guests can mingle among a striking curation of Cycladic art.”
Setting sail into Asia-Pacific, Alaska & Canada with Luminara
In a move setting itself apart from its sibling yachts, the Luminara will sail to Asia, Alaska, and Canada, starting from December 2025.
“Luminara will lead the collection’s expansion into Asia-Pacific beginning December 2025, with voyages to destinations including Hạ Long Bay, Vietnam; Osaka, Japan; and Bangkok,” said the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s president and CFO, Ernesto Fara. “In summer 2026, Luminara will sail to Alaska and Canada, bringing the brand’s ultra-luxury approach to some of the most remote and awe-inspiring coastlines in the world.”
